Tasmania is home to some of Australia’s most historic and picturesque rural properties, as well as building a reputation for establishing world leading distilleries. With Tasmanians now being encouraged to spend more time visiting state attractions, Lawrenny Estate Distillery has launched a new advertising campaign inviting local visitors to their cellar door.
‘Lawrenny is a true story of provenance’ commented Jensen Farley, Co-founder and General Manager of Lawrenny Estate Distillery. ‘Growing the hand selected barley used within our Estate whisky across the fields and combining it with the purist Tasmanian waters that flow past the distillery doors, provides us the opportunity to create a new make whisky that is quite unique.’
‘Whilst this is a challenging time in many ways, it is a great opportunity to share our story across the Tasmanian market. Every day we are seeing a growing number of local’s visit. People are taking a drive out for workplace team training or to celebrate the birthdays of gin and whisky fanatics.’
‘With several of our traditional sales channels still impacted, it is important that we provide additional support to those that remain available to us.’
The commercial supports the recently launched Tourism Tasmania ‘make yourself at home’ campaign where Tasmanian’s are encouraged to visit some of the local attractions and businesses around the state.
